VIP Airport Taxi

Terms & Conditions

The terms under which VIP Airport Taxi provides its services.

Last updated: 21 April 2026

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and agreements between you and VIP Airport Taxi. By placing a booking you accept these terms. We recommend reading them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • 1.1

“Customer”: the person who places a booking for the taxi services.

  • 1.2

“Taxi Company”: the service provider that performs the taxi ride.

  • 1.3

“Booking”: the agreement between the Customer and the Taxi Company for the provision of taxi services.

  • 1.4

“Driver”: the driver of the taxi, employed by the Taxi Company.

2. Bookings and Confirmations

  • 2.1

Bookings can be placed by telephone, through the website or through a mobile app.

  • 2.2

A booking is only final once confirmed by the Taxi Company by means of a confirmation message.

  • 2.3

The Taxi Company reserves the right to refuse bookings without stating reasons.

3. Rates and Payments

  • 3.1

Rates are determined on the basis of distance, time of day, type of vehicle and any additional services. Fixed rates apply to popular routes as published on the rates page.

  • 3.2

When placing a ride booking via the website the Customer pays an online deposit to secure the booking. The amount of the deposit depends on the type of ride and the total price: (a) for rides with a fixed rate (for example to and from Schiphol Airport) the deposit is € 25; (b) for regular rides with a distance-based price, the deposit is 50% of the total if the total is less than € 30, 33% of the total if the total is between € 30 and € 80, and 25% of the total if the total is € 80 or more — the deposit is in all cases capped at a maximum of € 25. The remaining balance is paid directly to the Driver on the day of the ride (cash or card). The exact deposit amount is shown to the Customer before the booking is confirmed.

  • 3.3

During the booking process — for both regular rides and private tours or day trips — the Customer may alternatively choose to pay the full ride or tour price online instead of the deposit (“full pre-payment”). In that case nothing is due to the Driver on the day of the ride or tour. Cancellations and refunds for full pre-payments are governed by article 4.

  • 3.4

For airport transfers the Customer may optionally add the “Gate-pickup” service: the Driver waits at the arrival gate with a name sign and personally accompanies the Customer to the vehicle. A fixed fee of € 25 applies for this service and is added to the total ride price.

  • 3.5

When booking a private tour the Customer pays a 30% deposit of the total price via the website. The remaining balance is paid directly to the Driver on the day of the tour (cash or card).

  • 3.6

Online payments are processed through payment provider Mollie and may be paid by iDEAL or credit card. The Customer receives a confirmation email once the payment has been received.

  • 3.7

The Taxi Company reserves the right to change its rates; however, changes do not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.

4. Cancellations and Changes

  • 4.1

Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

  • 4.2

In the event of timely cancellation (more than 24 hours in advance) the full amount paid online by the Customer is refunded. This applies both to the deposit (regardless of its type: fixed € 25, percentage-based, or 30% for tours) and to any full pre-payment. Any Gate-pickup service fee is refunded in full as well.

  • 4.3

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time result in forfeiture of the deposit as a cancellation fee. For Customers who opted for “full pre-payment” only the deposit (as defined in article 3.2 or 3.5) is retained; the excess (including any Gate-pickup fee) is refunded to the Customer. No additional amount will be charged.

  • 4.4

In the event of a no-show (Customer does not appear at the agreed pickup time) the full deposit is forfeited and the Taxi Company may still charge the remaining balance of the ride. If the Customer has already paid in full, no refund is due in this case.

  • 4.5

Change requests must be communicated as soon as possible. The Taxi Company will endeavour to honour these requests but cannot guarantee them.

5. Responsibilities of the Customer

  • 5.1

The Customer must provide complete and accurate information when making the booking.

  • 5.2

The Customer is responsible for their personal belongings during the ride.

  • 5.3

8. Force Majeure

  • 8.1

The Taxi Company is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond the Taxi Company’s reasonable control, including bad weather, traffic congestion, government measures, natural disasters or technical failures.

9. Complaints and Disputes

  • 9.1

Complaints about the taxi services must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the relevant ride.

  • 9.2
